We like to try and play an active role in supporting discussion around developments in and around Tavistock and District i.e. Tavistock and surrounding parishes. As an organisation we are not aligned to any political party, and aim for constructive dialogue with elected representatives. We encourage people to take part in public consultations about a sustainable future. Responses we have submitted as an organisation can be seen here.

Our members have connections to other sustainability initiatives in the local area and more widely, and we encourage mutual support through our newsletter and social media. We anticipate strengthening these connections during 2021 with two of our committee members having been selected to join West Devon Borough Council’s Climate Change and Biodiversity Forum.
